We know that yoga is a powerful tool for increasing the body’s physical health, but what about its other benefits? Ananda Yoga goes much deeper than the physical by focusing on the flow of energy in the body, and aligning the body and mind. In Ananda Yoga, each asana (posture) has an affirmation associated with it, that brings awareness inward and helps us tap into our own inner divinity. Each week will focus on different aspects of the divine: Peace, Wisdom and Power; Love, Calmness and the Sound of Aum; and Light and Joy.
